The Board of Directors will conduct a CDBG Grant Hearing at the Gateway Community Center on Tuesday 9/13 at 7PM. A copy of the draft CDBG grant application is available for public viewing at the Grant Administrator's office, 3rd floor, Gallatin County Courthouse. The District is seeking grant funding from all available sources for the construction of a public sewer system. Grants are used to offset construction costs making the project affordable for our community. Construction costs for various engineering alternatives are estimated in the preliminary engineering report, available in the "Documents" tab of this website.

The status of each grant applications is summarized below:

• Treasure State Endowment Program - Award letter received for $750,000 grant.
  
• Department of Natural Resources Renewable Resource Grant - Contract signed for $100,000 grant.
• Water Resources Development Act Grant - FY2012 Application complete.
  
• USDA Rural Utility Services Utilities Grant - Award letter received for $1,815,000 grant.
• Community Development Block Grant - Grant application filed, awaiting outcome.
  
• Economic Development Assistance Program Grant - We are currently determining our eligibility.
